Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast App Reviews

Needs to fix the problem on bespin undercity when you get to the part with the beams or the level!

I got quite a lot of play out of this game, which is frustrating because I finally hit a bug that prevents me from continuing. I am running this on a late 2008 Macbook Pro. It loads quickly and runs fine, with no jitters or other problems. Its an older game, but has a lot of fun play. Unfortunatly, when I hit the point where I need to refuel Landos starship, the two devices that need to be adjusted to the right symbols simply dont respond. I dont think this is user error on my part. From reading the bad reviews of this game, I am guessing that some number of users experience corruption with saved game files which prevent use of in game buttons or controls. Too bad. I suppose I could start over from some eariler point to see if the same problem crops up, but that would be pretty annoying.

This is a fun game; however, on my 2011 macbook air, I had to change some settings and delete a whole folder to get it to stop crashing, and it has no controller support! Release and update to fix these glitches and add controller support and it will be a five star review. Fun and challenging and a good multiplayer, but it crashes and has no controller support. Please update

On the first level when you blast the door open and go inside, the second I walk inside my game crashes. I am using cheats and was wondering if this was why? WIll review as 5 star if fixed/helped

The game is perfect. Plain and simple. It runs great, the graphics arent bad enough to detract from the fun of the game, the story is on par with the origional Star Wars trilogy (meaning amazing) and the gameplay itself is an artful mix of challanging puzzles and tough combat with a wide range of enemy types. If challenge isnt your thing, however, there is a wide variety of cheats and mods that make jumping up an elevator shaft of slaughtering dozens of stormtroopers a breeze. Here are a few simple ones. To enable cheats hit "shift" and the little squiggly button above the tab key, and type in "helpusobi 1", then feel free to type in any or all of the following codes. "give all" gives you full health, shields, ammo, and all equipment "setforceall 3" gives you the highest level of every force power "sabercolor (red, orange yellow, green, blue, purple)" changes the color of your lightsaber accordingly "god" makes you invulnerable (warning: if you fall, you still wont die. Youll just sit at the bottom of whatever you fell into, most likely unable to get back up) Those are just a few of the simple ones. There are many more out there. Throw in an innovative multiplayer, and you have a truly flawless game. I would recommend this to anyone, be it a die hard Star Wars fan, a hardcore gamer, or just someone who wants to kill some time on their computer. This game was fifteen dollars well spent.

Jedi Outcast just like I remember it. Never crashed on the first level like the most popular review said. Im running a 15in MacBook Pro that I bought in August 2012, and I have suffered no bugs or glitches as of yet.

I originally gave this game one star because of multiple glitches the first time I used it. Now I am forced to revise my review. The second time I tried it, everything worked like a charm, and everything has worked like a charm ever since. I dont know what it was about the first trial, but its functioning perfectly now. I suggest those who encounter bugs just start over and see if that fixes things. This game is well-written with a good story, and is extremely replayable, especially since you can skip cutscenes with a single keystroke. Gameplay is highly challenging and addictive. The interface is smooth and intuitive, though you definitely need a mouse. Trackpad cant handle it. The only problem I have with this game, and the only reason it doesnt get five stars from me, is that the cinematic scenes dont play the soundtrack. I have played this game over and over again and the music and sound effects just arent there. I hope this problem will be addressed and fixed, but it is only mildly annoying. Great game. Definitely worth the money.

I love the game but if you try to pause the game or quick save the game quits and you get an error message. I have probably watched the opening scene 20 times.

I loved the first game so I was super stoked to see this available but turns out I had the same problem with the key card not working on the first level. Not worth buying unless that gets fixed. I would probably give this five stars if it wasnt for this.

I love Aspyr Media in a barely non-sexual way for adding this to the appstore. Had it for the original Xbox but it wasnt backwards compatable when I got my 360. I have sorely missed this game. My brother and I played the heck out of it as kids. Its great to see it again, and Im going to play the heck out of this version too. THANK YOU ASPYR!!!!

Even though this game is really old (just glance at the cinematics) it is still great! more Star Wars games should be made like this. One other thing that would make apple my favorite company of all time is if they put Skyrim on the app store! I WOULD FREAKING LOVE APPLE!!!!!

In order to use F9 and F12 as save, load functions! going to system preferences- keyboard- use all F1,F2 keys as standard function keys, now you can use your save buttons frealy, OR you can hold the fn-key while pressing the F-keys in order to ajust volume and brightness in game, depending on your choise to use the System preference option you can simply use the fn-key plus the F-key! next thing, to you guys who complain about the missing keycard! bring the console, (done differently on diffrent keyboards on my euro keyboard its shift plus < button) type in helpusobi 1 , then noclip in order to "fly" youll understand how to use it quickly type "noclip" again to disable! Now regarding the game so I just finished it, since I played it last time many years ago, and it was great fun to go back to the emotions and feelings I had the very first time I played the game! now to play it again with Cheats :D note to aspyr, you shuld see if there is a way to disable the F-keys while playing the game, prob hard cuz sandboxing, however you SHOULD mention it in the description!

all you need to know is WOW!!! this game is aewsome. you can even say it backwards WOW!!! One of the best STAR WARS games of all time.

From what Ive played of the game so far its incredible! Still a great game in my opinion. My only question would be, does it support PS3 Controllers? I love the game, but I have a hard time playing it with my trackpad ): I do recommend it though to anyone who likes star wars games and is used to PC/Mac gaming :D its really awesome!

Game crashes ever 2 minutes on the narshadda level. please fix

I tried to download it and when it was done it restarted for some reason and im tryingto download it again now and i hope it works!

This game was great until I got to one level in the campaign where I just could not get past. I watched just about every walk thtough video there is and I still cant get to the next level. If you are looking for a game where you dont have to watch a walkthough or wonder if you are walking in circles, this game is not for you.

ive tryed loading and reloading the game, deleting and redownloading it, and everything else i can think of but on the first level when i turn on the turrent gun (the defense system), it wont let me interact with the gun to shoot open the first door. i remember this game from childhood and would love to give it a 5 star but as of right now its unplayable. :(

THe thing wont start up now. I had a lot of fun for awhile but after that, The thing gave me a message when I started it up saying, "couldnt load default.cfg" The game is great, but fix the problem.

I forgot to load it for months and i couldnt download it I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
