In your face nostalgia
I played this game all the way back when it first came out on the Gamecube. The multiplayer was my favorite thing to do with friends before Halo became popular. The lightsaber mechanics are praiseworthy and behave just as you would expect them to. This time around I have tried to get through the single-player story mode. While the levels can be annoyingly impossible to figure out on your own sometimes; doing so just makes the experience very satisfying to play. Also, its worth mentioning how awesome the story is. If things were to have gone differently this could very well have been a viable alternative to the next Star Wars movie well be getting this year.
The only problem I have experienced on this game is a very strange glitch on one of the levels where the app would shut down completely. However I got around this by loading a different saved game and playing through to where I was and it has worked fine since then. I suspect that the save file got corrupted somehow. Make sure to save often to avoid this problem and you should be fine.
5/5 stars
+Nostalgia for a cheap price.
+For an old game, the graphics hold up nicely.
-Level design is pretty sloppy making it hard to figure out what you should be doing at times.
-Very limited multiplayer. This is to be expected on mac, but I suspect the community to rebound a little bit when the movie comes out.
